The principal partners of HMRP-IV are the National Maize Research Program (NMRP) under NARC, the Crop Development Directorate under DoA, the Seed Quality Control Centre (SQCC) and the National Seed Board (NSB) under the Ministry of Agriculture and Cooperatives; NGOs, CBOs, universities, private entrepreneurs, and farmer groups. During phase IV, emphasis has also been given to create synergies among several SDC-funded agricultural projects such as the Vegetable Seed Project (VSP), Sustainable Soil Management Project (SSMP), Home Garden (HG), and Local Infrastructures for Livelihood Improvement (LILI), and with USAID funded projects such as Education for Income Generation (EIG) and Nepal Flood Recovery Program.
